Conflux Partners with Chainlink to Enable Secure Connections Between the Blockchain and Non-Blockchain Worlds

Conflux and Chainlink

Conflux is partnering with Chainlink, a decentralized oracle network that securely connects smart contracts to off-chain data feeds, web APIs, and traditional payments. Oracles are necessary as DApps need reliable data from real-world sources to execute smart contracts upon meeting predefined criteria.

Chainlink’s oracle network acts as the translator that enables Conflux smart contracts (on-chain) the ability to interact with reliable and trustworthy information from outside the Conflux blockchain (off-chain). Uniquely, Chainlink brings decentralization to off-chain connections (oracles) to ensure there is no single point of failure in the smart contract.

This integration creates a stable, yet decentralized link between external data and Conflux smart-contracts that supports applications requiring high throughput solutions. With a growing Conflux ecosystem and it’s increasing number of DApps, projects can expand their functionality to off-chain environments without having to sacrifice scalability, decentralization, or security.

Future Outlook

In order for the DApps of the future to reach billions of users, the underlying blockchain layer needs to be connected to off-chain data and systems in a highly secure manner. Without off-chain connection, blockchains are isolated networks with limited functionality, akin to computers without the Internet. This connection sparks the beginning of a bright future for mass adoption and is critical for improving the developer experience. By integrating with Chainlink, Conflux is one step closer to making that vision a reality for the world’s developers.

Learn More About Chainlink

Chainlink is consistently selected as one of the top blockchain technologies by leading independent research firms such as Gartner. It is well known for providing highly secure and reliable oracles to great companies like Google, Oracle, SWIFT, and many other large enterprises, as well as many of the world’s best smart contract projects/teams such as Web3/Polkadot, Kaleido, Synthetix, OpenLaw, Reserve, and many more.

About Conflux

Conflux is a state-of-the-art public blockchain system that can achieve high transactions per second (TPS) without having to sacrifice for decentralization or security. This is made possible by Conflux’s novel algorithm which utilizes a Tree-Graph structure, thereby improving performance and eliminating the bottleneck that is faced by public blockchains like Ethereum and Bitcoin. In order for mass adoption of blockchain technology to take place, public blockchains must be able to handle thousands of transactions per second. In its first stage, Conflux has adopted a Proof of Work (PoW) mechanism for its consensus mechanism and is already able to handle upwards of 3000+ TPS.

Conflux is a PoW + PoS hybrid first layer consensus blockchain for dApps that require speed at scale, without sacrificing decentralization.
