Grants Wave Two: 2.4 Billion in CFX to Support Ecosystem Growth
Thank you to our entire community for the tremendous support for our Grant Program. We have so many amazing and diverse projects in the pipeline.
What’s new with Wave 2?
Our grants program application process will now be managed in rolling waves. In this second wave, we are focused on submissions around the categories outlined below.
Infrastructure
Tooling to support composable and interoperable cross chain data and assets.
- Asset and arbitrary message bridges to other networks and protocols.
- Oracle solutions for on and off-chain data.
- Developer tools for developer onboarding, workflow, analysis, and query.
- Identity solutions for wallets, KYC, and credential verification.
- Security tools for audits, key management, custodial and non-custodial solutions
- Mobile and game development tools.
- Marketplaces and aggregators for easy search and discovery.
Community
Grants to support community growth, management, and operations.
- Governance primitives and applications for arbitration, DAOs, voting, and legal frameworks.
- Token standards and tooling for digital asset management, including stablecoins, NFTs, and cross-chain assets.
- Crypto-economic mechanisms and applications for pricing, curation, fundraising, and staking.
dApp Ecosystem
dApps to drive user adoption, liquidity, and composability on Conflux Network.
- DeFi and money legos, such as stablecoins, cross-chain assets, indices, payment channels, lending and borrowing platforms, synthetic assets (derivatives, options and swaps), DEXs, and market makers.
- The Metaverse and NFTs, for gaming, art, collectibles, music, communities, and your imagination.
Redeployments
Grants to facilitate an iterative approach to protocol redeployment and asset migration onto Conflux.
- Technical integrations to support test net and mainnet deployments.
- Community bounties and hackathons for cross community collaboration.
- Asset migrations and minting to bootstrap liquidity and demand.
Grant Funding Tiers
Projects applying for grants are eligible for funding of up to $100k based on the grants category, market potential, and alignment with Conflux Network’s vision. The grant amounts mentioned below are in USD and the funds will, subject to eligibility and the terms and conditions of the program, be disbursed in CFX, the native token of Conflux.
Tier 1
Grant up to $15k per project, to be completed in 0–2 months
Tier 2
Grant up to $50k per project, to be completed in 2–6 months
Tier 3
Grants up to $100k per project, timelines determined case by case.
Ready to Apply?
Submissions must include tangible outcomes outlined against a fixed timeframe. A few tips for a successful application:
- We are looking for talented, driven and focused teams with clearly defined, actionable goals.
- The project work should be in progress and open-source for community use. This will be helpful for transparency and quicker due diligence for decision making.
- The teams should have experience in delivering blockchain solutions in the past.
- Projects should be working towards tangible outcomes within a set timeframe, preferably 6 months or less. Projects should be able to clearly disclose how the grant funds will be used with a detailed breakdown of costs.
- The teams need to demonstrate a long term commitment to build and operate their solutions on the Conflux Network, thus mutually beneficial for the growth of the platform and the products that are built.
- Grants with lower budgets and quicker time frames will move more quickly through the process and receive quicker decisions.

- DApp Data Analytics: Build a tool to collect and parse DApp data.
- Testing Suites: Build testing suites for developers building on top of Conflux.
- Mobile and Desktop Extensions: Build mobile or desktop extensions for Conflux DApps and wallets.
- Staking: Build a wallet (B2C) or protocol (B2B) that enables staking CFX.
- Marketplace Aggregator: Build a marketplace aggregator on Conflux.
- Curation DAOs: Build a community curation tool on Conflux.
- Yield Aggregator: Build a yield aggregator for yield farms on Conflux.
- Stablecoin: Build a stablecoin native to the Conflux ecosystem.
- Multi-Chain Yield Product: Build a cross chain yield generating DeFi DApp using Shuttleflow.
- DEX: Build a decentralized exchange on Conflux.
- Lending / Borrowing: Build a secure and non-custodial lending / borrowing protocol on Conflux.
- Synthetic / Derivative Assets: Build synthetic assets on Conflux.
- Structured Products: Build structured financial products on Conflux.
- Social Tokens: Build a platform for creators on Conflux.
- NFT Index: Build an NFT index on Conflux.
- Community: Seed and grow a local Conflux community.
