Unveiling China’s NFT Landscape on Conflux — Part 6!
Take a look at how beauty brand Clarins, malls in Shanghai, and the travel industry are utilizing digital collectibles to promote the adoption of Web3 in China.
In this edition, we show how NFTs are not just digital collectibles but powerful tools reshaping various industries in China. From innovative marketing campaigns by leading skincare brand Clarins to the unique integration of NFTs and AR in popular variety shows. We also take a look at how NFTs minted on Conflux are enhancing traditional shopping events and revolutionizing the hospitality industry.
Clarins
In an innovative marketing move, Clarins, a French skincare brand, recently launched a unique campaign involving 100 Chinese women sharing their views on youth. Their authentic stories, showing bravery and creativity, were compiled in the “Chinese Young Women’s Almanac” and presented alongside an online exhibition to promote Clarins’ latest products.
In the spirit of female empowerment, Clarins also collaborated with female artists from the Central Academy of Fine Arts to design a series of exclusive NFTs for the brand. These NFTs, both beautiful and creative, were minted on our Conflux network, demonstrating a seamless blend of art, technology, and marketing.
This convergence of Web3 and marketing introduces a brand-new marketing approach that raises brand awareness and encourages engagement with Web3 using NFTs.
NFTs and AR
This time, we explore the integration of the two coolest new technologies: NFTs and AR.
‘Our Inn’ is a variety show about rural life that has been popular with young people because of its chill and relaxing vibe and depiction of the beautiful countryside.
After the show ended, NFTs of the seven guests were minted on our Conflux network. For those who purchased these NFTs, we added a unique twist — a customized mug. This isn’t just a regular mug, though. By scanning it with an AR scanner, owners can unlock special unreleased highlights and out-takes from the show.
It’s an innovative way to enjoy the show beyond the screen, blending the charm of ‘Our Inn’ with the tech of NFTs and AR.”
GO Songjiang Shopping Campaign
In China, digital collectibles play a significant role in leveraging blockchain technology to enhance traditional brick-and-mortar businesses. Recently, Songjiang, a district in Shanghai, organized a two-week shopping event filled with exciting activities and prizes. Among these prizes were NFTs that provided various perks, aiming to demonstrate how virtual assets can enrich everyday life for shoppers.
To celebrate the event, 10,000 “GO Songjiang” (GOSJ) blind-box NFTs were minted on Conflux. These were given as gifts to 10,000 lucky shoppers.
To encourage spending, the local government collaborated with Shanghai shopping malls to offer NFT winners coupons for movie theaters, restaurants, parking services, and more.
Blossom House
Have you ever thought about how hotel brands could use NFTs to change the game in marketing? Blossom House, a high-end resort brand from H World Group, is already on it! Founded in 2009, Blossom House is all about creating memorable vacations with a mix of local charm, natural beauty, and culture.
Earlier this year, they launched a unique campaign: for just 100 points, guests could get a limited edition NFT badge, minted on Conflux network.
This badge isn’t just for show — it gives holders cool perks like free afternoon tea, passes to hot springs, and tickets to local attractions. The result? A huge increase in visitors!
But this is more than just a hotel trend, it’s a glimpse into how NFTs are starting to reshape marketing in all kinds of industries. They’re more than digital art — they’re becoming a part of the real-world economy. With this move, Blossom House is leading the way into a new era where NFTs have practical, everyday uses.
